The 4-Star Rutland Hotel, full of character, is right opposite. You will need to book via booking.com to be able to get free cancellation.
At just ten minutes very pleasant walk is the Jonas Hotel, sited in the University Village, with free parking. We have forty rooms held for the Festival in the Jonas Hotel which is a modern refurbished student building. The rooms are ensuite and all have 3/4 beds (small doubles — 4ft wide). The price per room is £60 a night for single occupancy and £70 per night for a cosy double occupancy. These are best value within walking distance and in a very pleasant environment.
Their partner Halifax Hall, is on the same site and is a beautiful Victorian Mansion style hotel. They are only able to hold one double room for us for the full three nights at £125 per night, as most of their rooms are held for a wedding for the Saturday night. They are holding ten rooms which are bookable for the nights of Friday 3 and Sunday 5 May and it is possible that some of those could be made available about six weeks before our Festival weekend, however please see note below about Snooker Championship. There are two twin rooms only available just for the night of Sunday 5 May.
The Halifax and Jonas room prices will be held for us with free cancellation until the last 48 hrs before the event and both can be booked by contacting the Halifax direct and quoting the Sheffield Tango Festival.
Note We would suggest that you don’t delay booking accommodation as the final of the World Snooker Championship also takes place over this weekend in Sheffield.

There are also other hotels and quite a few reasonable apartments on booking.com and some lovely homes on airbnb.com. (S10 properties will have easy bus route to venue.)

Campervans
There is limited space in the King Edward VII car park for campervans. First come, first served; please book soon to be sure of a place. The cost is £15 per night. Toilet and shower facilities will be available after 9 a.m.
